ABOUT US

HELLO AND WELCOME. WE’RE SO
GLAD YOU’RE HERE.

We are passionate and dedicated occupational therapists and a mother who understand the needs of parents in supporting their children.

With extensive experience and expertise in paediatric occupational therapy, we have a deep understanding of the challenges parents face when it comes to their children's development and well-being.

What sets us apart is our firm belief in allowing children to fully immerse themselves in everyday activities without unnecessary burdens.

We know that every child is unique and has unique abilities and challenges. Instead of focusing solely on limitations, we adopt a neuro-affirmative approach that celebrates and nurtures a child's strengths and interests.

Creating a supportive and inclusive environment where parents can feel understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools and strategies needed to help their children thrive.

OUR PROCESS

1

LETS HAVE A CHAT

After you complete our intake form, we will email you to organise a 30-minute phone call to discuss the information you have provided and explain the next steps to move ahead. During this time we will offer the available appointments that we have for your child.

2

INITIAL CONSULTATION

We will hold a 45-minute private session with the primary parent or caregiver to discuss their child's needs, current challenges, and goals. We have found that conducting these sessions without the child present is more comfortable and effective for both the parent and the child.

3

ASSESMENT

To best understand your childs needs, we'll work together for three sessions. The first is the initial consultation, which is a vital part of the process. For the next two therapy sessions, we'll conduct various assessments and observations to evaluate different areas of development and identify your child's strengths and weaknesses. During these sessions, we may ask you to complete formal assessments independently to help us gain a better understanding of your child's and family's needs. We're excited to work with you and your child to help them reach their full potential!

4

THERAPY

At Bloom Therapy Co, we focus on achieving specific and achievable goals by working closely with you and your child. We will create a clear plan that outlines these goals and provide you with an initial report that details everything discussed throughout the initial three consultations. We will review this report with you to ensure that you clearly understand all the details and are satisfied with them. We offer therapy in our two clinic locations, the sutherland shire area or the ryde/parramatta area. We aim to provide you with appointments that suit your lifestyle and family schedule. We also offer therapy sessions at h me and at school if needed. We are committed to creating a supportive and inspiring environment that helps your child reach their full potential.
